Student Forum

The Academy of Music of the University of Ljubljana invites students to participate in a 2nd Student Forum that will take place on November 26, 2025, as part of the international scientific symposium Music for Health and Well-being. The forum program will run throughout the day and will be varied in content, combining scientific, pedagogical, and creative approaches to the use of music for promoting health and well-being. After the introductory welcome speech at 9:00 a.m., there will be lectures on the importance of music for inclusion, empowerment, and social development. This will be followed by a series of student presentations. The afternoon session will be devoted to lectures and workshops focusing on various aspects of music teaching in relation to student well-being using ICT tools, chamber music, the use of music therapy in music lessons, and well-being through the communal musical experience of choir singers.
